"Offering a glimmer of light during your darkest days"

Our Purpose

The Ellis Edwards Foundation eases the emotional burden of childhood bereavement by offering accessible, inclusive, and therapeutic experiences.

Through grief breaks, counselling, and community connection, we help children and their families to process loss, build resilience, and rediscover moments of joy, together.

Our vision

Our vision is to bring light, comfort, and emotional healing to children grieving the loss of a sibling, parent or caregiver, through compassionate support and meaningful respite. The Ellis Edwards Foundation offers support services and family experiences to relieve the emotional distress experienced by a bereaved child.

Our Community

We’re a community-powered charity of volunteers, with a shared commitment to making a difference. Led by the charity’s founders Eddie and Carly (the parents of Ellis Edwards), their own heart-breaking experiences have driven a deep purpose to offer comfort to children who have been affected by the passing of a loved one.

Through individual fundraising, community events, and charitable donations, the Ellis Edwards Foundation is able to support children and their families during their darkest days.

Thank you so much for giving us the best day at Poulton's Park. We had the most perfect day and the kids smiled all day long. It's been a long, heart-breaking year for us and it was nice to see the kids happy and making memories with them. We will forever be grateful for your kindness x

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the vouchers. He has had a great day today, 3.5 hours at Splashdown followed by his favourite food. It doesn't get better than that! He's been really missing his brother recently, especially as it's school holidays and this has really lifted his spirits. Thank you!

A family day out and time together was just what we needed. The kids have been missing their sister so much recently and having that time together to smile and remember was just what we needed. Having the financial pressure taken away made it possible. It really does mean so much that you thought about us.

Thanks so much for the Go Ape voucher and also for sending us the parking pass and vouchers for the Barn Café. We used everything today and all went well. My son said it was exhilarating and he was proud of himself for completing the treetop challenge course.

We appreciate that your charity want to help E after the loss of his big brother. Throughout his big brother's journey, a lot of the support and gifts were, understandably, for him and not E. So it is nice to know that he is not being forgotten about, especially now at this very difficult time.

After mummy passed away, daddy arranged through the foundation for a fun day out. We had the best day ever and managed to go on all the rides which I am now tall enough to do. Thank you so much for an amazing day out.
