This November, something extraordinary is happening in Bournemouth, and you’re invited to be part of it! Our friend Vasek is running 30 half-marathons in 30 days to raise funds for the Ellis Edwards Foundation.
30 Half-marathons in 30 Days – Run with Vasek
Our friend Vasek Gryga, a Czech-born ultra-runner who’s called Bournemouth home since 2005, is taking on his boldest challenge yet: 30 half-marathons in 30 consecutive days to raise funds for the Ellis Edwards Foundation. That’s over 390 miles of dedication and community spirit!
Vasek is no stranger to pushing limits. From a 105-mile charity run to conquering the Jurassic Coast 100km, and even completing five marathons back-to-back (yes, that’s 130 miles in just 25 hours!), he’s supported many local charities with his running, and we are incredibly grateful that he’s joining our mission to support children in Bournemouth who have lost a sibling or parent to cancer.
Vasek enjoys juggling family life, work, and his love for running and ultra-marathons. Ellis taught us the importance of living life to the full and doing what you love – and Vasek is doing just that. He’s already an important part of the Ellis Edwards Foundation community, supporting our previous events like the Junior Park Run, and now its time for us to rally together and support Vasek.
